Senator Jim Bunning

       Republican Senator Jim Bunning, of Kentucky, said that he is involved in discussions to help end a stalemate over the extension of unemployment benefits for millions of jobless Americans. Bunning was asked whether senators are close to finalizing a deal, we're trying.

      Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said top Democrats and Republicans were trying to find a resolution to the impasse. We are in the process of working this out, and hopefully it will be resolved in the near future,   

     Reid said, you made your point but the majority of the Senate disagrees with you,the need to extend unemployment benefits is an emergency.  Our economy is suffering. There's lots of people out of work.
